How to Find a YouTube Channel ID
Find the stable YouTube channel ID behind a public handle, channel URL, custom URL, or video.
A YouTube handle is designed for people; a channel ID is the more stable platform identifier used by APIs and reporting systems. They are not interchangeable.
Use a direct channel URL when possible
A URL containing /channel/ already includes the channel ID. Copy the value that follows it. This is the fastest method because it does not require a public data lookup.
Resolve handles, custom URLs, and videos
For an @handle, custom URL, or video URL, use a public resolver. The MZChecker Channel ID Finder resolves supported public inputs and gives you a copyable channel ID when the YouTube data service can find it.
A video URL belongs to a channel, so it can also reveal the publishing channel ID when the video is public and available.
Keep the identifier with its source
